happy birthday baby!

surprise surprise! this darling was complaining that i've never written a testimonial for her before so this is my way of wishing her a super special big 2-0!

the silly poses jiahwa can make us do anytime anywhere. read this pretty letter on the plane and yes it made me cry loads! it's all her fault that im on my way to becoming a hum bao :x



scamp: where ppl started to think we looked a little alike. too bad i wont be there this year!


tcc: i think this was one of our first few times out alone! now im making us sound like a couple :x



national day 2006! can you see our lovely red polo tees? and i think that uncle really wanted to be in our photo.

there you can tell she loves herself. and i dont see any reason not to! ((:



we're not always that glam you see. somehow our faces are capable of doing the funniest expressions!


dress up day at holland v: with darling roomie as well ((: it was pretty fun though we were kinda out of place dressed like that during the day.



our "photoshoot" director was lihwee! was trying hard not to smile but my baby's a natural!


one of the first few times we went clubbing: all the girlies reg is always missing!



dressed to kill! when we were going to st james. i have no idea why we put in so much effort that night!


dont we look bitchy? my young cousin thinks we look like bad girls haha!



oh yes we were high. ( cam whores! )



omg we didnt kiss! or did we? *blush



and we celebrated darling roomie's birthday! had to sneak in the cake and lihwee didnt suspect a thing! successful surprise (:



now back to the angelic side.

ooo boy were we happy! the waiter was staring at us when we were taking this photo :x



and yes we do have our little tantrums sometimes. haha the waiter was pretty amused by then.


we can get frustrated at times! be warned :p



jiahwa, me and chunnie darling all have different definitions when it comes to showing that we're such poor things!


hmm guess she does wonder what it's like to have a moustache...



my baby's a fiesty girl! ( we really love our desserts! )



she's very musically inclined as well. ( dont scold me i chose the most elegant photo already! haha )



and oh she can bake too! sounds pretty attractive huh? too late guys she's already taken :p


guess what we also have a friendship clip! and it was actually from NUS co-op. shopping habits die hard. *shakes head

a birthday celebration

it's been ages since we all gathered together and last night it was to celebrate alison and small jon's birthdays!


the humble beginnings of our dinner...

me and sarah were cutting the red chillies. which reminds me that i shld have washed my hands before being greedy and stealing a nugget. i was sucking my thumb and it was soooo spicy! :x

camay! she didnt wanna let me take a photo while she was cooking but i managed to convince her *smug face

and our other senior chef, stephen. even though it doesnt look like it he was really the chef for the night!

and that's the birthday boy! he was cutting fish under stephen's orders. haha.

my adelaide boyfriend. haha. somehow the girls are all lovers :x

me, camy and sarah. obviously we didnt help much after cutting up all the food. heh.

dinner is served! with our two senior chefs who were arguing about what and whatnot. hee.

i was drooling by this time but i had to take a photo first! from the left, salmon and mushroom pasta, fish and eggplant, lemon chicken, fish and long beans and last but not least baked vegs in white sauce. mmm.

looks like some chinese new year celebration right? :x

retail therapy

really works! just went to harbourtown to get a pair of jeans for winter and i came home with much more. now all i need is a bank account that will keep refilling itself. sounds pretty good eh?
i realise i havent been blogging much and tammy had to go post an unglam photo of me! argh.

is this pretty! we went to chocolate bean on friday night and after our very satisfying chocolate fix we started playing with the leftover chocolate. say hello to the artistic me! yeah the rest of what we did was pretty gross and i think the waitress was kinda annoyed. oops.
and introducing elephant walk! it's basically this place for couples in north adelaide but hey we werent the only big group there okay! haha.

this was my very pretty ice chocolate. mmm ((: it tasted like really nice chocolate milk.


the strawberry waffle that we shared. it was okay cause basically im not that in love with strawberry products. i love them fresh strawberries!

the banana waffle that eugene and small jon shared. you can see him taking a photo of it quite funny! what we all had was pretty yummy. i think im gonna run out of new places to go to pretty soon!

the whipped cream that i couldnt finish: does it remind someone of tiramisu? haha. anyways the lighting was like that in the cafe. pretty romantic huh?

okay im gonna go back to studying. coming home soon ((:
